This is why most cotton fabrics on jet looms do not have the three jump defects of star jump, parallel jump, and flower jump, while cotton fabrics on shuttle looms have the three jump defect. In other words, jet looms convert all three jump defects into weaving machine weft stop.
2. The beginning of the fine yarn is a fluctuating and spiral forward movement fitness. When encountering unclear yarn or fuzz that is still adhered to the left and right layers of yarn, it is easy to be obstructed. Due to the difference in the upper, lower, inner, and outer dimensions of the irregular reed groove, the expected effect of weft insertion for Z-twist yarn and S-twist yarn may be different.
3. Compared to shuttle looms, a weaving machine with a higher speed has hairiness and defects on a single tube of yarn. These hairiness and defects extend in every direction. When the upper layer of yarn and the lower layer of yarn are closed to the flat position, some of the hairiness and defects are horizontally obstructed in the middle of the upper and lower layers of yarn in a weft direction. When the original upper layer of yarn moves downward for fitness, and the original lower layer of yarn moves upward for fitness, To clear the shuttle, it is necessary to remove the fuzz that was originally obstructed horizontally in the weft direction between the two layers of gauze and the connecting wedding veil head and tail. However, removing the fuzz and connecting the wedding veil head and tail requires time; In addition, when the shed is opened to a level, the fuzziness on one yarn may also be coiled around another layer of yarn or a tube yarn in the vicinity. Opening or breaking this feather requires not only force, but also time. The speed of a jet weaving locomotive is about 3-4 times that of a shuttle weaving locomotive, allowing it to open and clear the shed in a shorter time. The probability of fuzz entanglement with other tube yarns causing unclear opening of the mouth to prevent fine yarn from sailing is higher. However, due to the short outer shed of the jet weaving machine, the opening of the mouth angle is larger, which is equivalent to a larger opening force, further solving the difficulty of unclear opening of the mouth.
